May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and it’s the perfect time to remember:
Your mind matters to God.
In a world full of noise, pressure, and comparison, the Bible reminds us that God cares deeply about our emotional and mental wellbeing.
Here are five powerful truths you can declare over yourself this month — and every day after.
1. I Am Loved and Chosen
"Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes." — Ephesians 1:4-5
You are not an accident.
You are loved, chosen, and seen — exactly as you are.
2. I Am Never Alone
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18
On the hardest days, when loneliness tries to creep in, remember:
God is closer than your next breath.
3. God Gives Me Strength
"But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31
You don't have to carry everything alone.
God’s strength lifts you up when your own feels like it's running out.
4. My Mind Can Be Renewed
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." — Romans 12:2
You’re not stuck.
God can heal, rewire, and restore what feels broken.
5. Peace Is a Promise, Not a Wish
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." — John 14:27
The world offers distractions.
Jesus offers real peace.
💬 Final Encouragement:
Taking care of your mental health is not selfish — it's wise stewardship of the life God entrusted to you.
This month (and always), keep speaking life over yourself.
God’s Word is your firm foundation.
