We celebrated. We sang the songs, shared the Scriptures, and rejoiced in the victory of the empty tomb. Easter Sunday reminded us that death was defeated and hope was born again through Jesus Christ, our risen Savior. But now, as the week after unfolds and the world returns to its routine, a deeper question stirs: Now what? What does it mean to live on the other side of resurrection?
After rising from the grave, Jesus didn’t just ascend to heaven. He stayed. He showed up. He walked alongside His followers, broke bread with them, and gave them a purpose. The resurrection wasn’t a finale—it was a commissioning. For us, too, this moment isn’t meant to fade. We’re invited to live like the resurrection still matters, because it does. It shapes our choices, our compassion, our courage. We carry the hope of new life not just in our hearts, but into the lives of others.
In today’s world, that calling couldn’t be more needed. We’re surrounded by division, fear, distraction, and pressure to perform or conform. But the resurrection reminds us: we are not powerless. Christ is still risen. Love is still stronger. Our faith isn’t meant to retreat in times like these—it’s meant to rise up, stand firm, and reflect the unshakable hope we have in Him. So we ask again, with purpose in our hearts: He is risen… now what? Now, we live like it’s true.
So what now? We rise with Him. We walk in grace. We love boldly, forgive freely, and shine the light that cannot be overcome. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in us Romans 8:11, and that changes everything. He is risen… so let’s not just remember it—let’s live like it.
