On January 7, 2026, Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old American woman, was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during a federal immigration enforcement operation. Reports say the agent fired multiple times as Renee’s vehicle moved away; federal officials called it self-defense, but eyewitness accounts and local criticism raised serious questions about the use of force in her death.
Renee was a real person with people who loved her. Her name deserves to be spoken and remembered.
